Wanted:O’Neill Summerbabe 2008
Together with O’Neill and Summerscene.nl, Summertime Magazine organised the O’Neill Summberbabe Contest 2008. Fifteen gorgeous girls travelled to the Loosdrechtse Plassen and the beach of Zandvoort for the the semi-final of the O’Neill Summerbabe Contest 2008. On the schedule was wakeboarding and kite surfing.

Once the beautiful contestents arrived at the Loosdrechtse Plassen they got their very first Wakeboard clinic. Famous Dutch TMF VJ Nikki Plessen was the first to step on the board and gave the perfect example, as she managed to keep standing on the wakeboard. After a delicious lunch, the semi-finalists travelled to the beach of Zandvoort for the second part of the semi-final of the O’Neill Summerbabe Contest 2008. This happened in true Summerbabe style with old Volkswagen Beetle cabrio’s.

At arrival in Zandvoort the girls immediately started with a kite boarding-workshop. Unfortunaly there was not much wind, but some even managed to keep the kite in the air. At the end of the Nikki Plessen announced the 12 finalists. The final of the O’Neill Summerbabe Contest 2008 will be held on August 17th. In this final the remaining girls have to show their marvellous bodies on the catwalk. The eventual O’Neill Summerbabe 2008 wins a LG cell phone and get to be the covergirl of Summertime Magazine. She also gets to travel to Las Vegas for the final of the International Miss Hawaiien Tropic Contest.
