eReader increasingly popular
Not too long ago in 2007, Amazon released the very first eReader: the Kindle. Shortly after their introduction competitors like Sony, Hanvon and Barnes & Nobles released eReaders of their own. Book fanatics embraced the new little machine in reading and sales went through the roof.

First and second generation eReader

First generation eReaders merely showed black and white text. The second generation used simple graphics and had the possibility to connect to the net. During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2010 which took place in Las Vegas, we’ve got a sneak peak of the third generation of eReaders.

Third generation eReader

The third generation eReader will be available this year and it has a lot more to offer. Color displays, interactive graphics and attractive layouts. This new gen of eReader could well save the media printing industry. In the future we will be reading books and newspapers on our eReader.

The CES showcased five new eReaders which will concur the markets this year: The Plastic Logic Que, the Skiff Reader, the EnTourage eDGe, Alex Dual Screen and the Blio.
