The Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart is a true Mecca for car lovers. Even though you’re not a big fan of the Mercedes Benz brand, we can guarantee you that  the museum will leave a special feeling behind whenever you think back at it. The Mercedes museum consists out of 8 layers which take you through 120 years of automobile history.



Mercedes Benz tour, you know you want it…
You start your tour at the very top floor where you’ll find the first car ever built: the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen. Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz used to be rivals but decided to join forces and became the Mercedes brand we know today. The name Mercedes arose when Daimler’s largest customer placed a mega order under one condition. The cars had to be named after his daughter; Mercedes.

Mercedes Classics
Among the classic cars you will also find concept cars and cars that never made it into production. Famous race driver’s cars like Sir Stirling Moss’ Mercedes ‘722’ 300 SL in which he won the 1955 ‘Mille Miglia’ in record time which until this day has never been beaten or matched. The Mercedes Benz museum also has a Mercedes classic center, where we were allowed to have a sneak peak.
