BMW Z4 roadster
BMW has introduced a redesigned version of its Z4 roadster. The 2nd generation Z4 features a retractable hardtop. The top is made of a two-piece lightweight aluminum shell, and lowers in 20 seconds. Compared to the previous BMW Z4, the 2nd generation is also 148mm longer and 9mm wider. Other changes are the new interior design and the latest generation of BMW’s iDrive system.



BMW Z4 models
Three models will be made available in the BMW Z4 series, the sDrive23i, sDrive30i, and sDrive35i. The sDrive23i is powered by BMW's 2,497 cc producing 201 hp. The sDrive30i is powered by the 2,996 cc I6 producing 255 hp. The sDrive35i is powered by a 2,979 cc twin-turbocharged I6 producing 302 hp. This last version of the BMW Z4 can be delivered with a optional 7-speed double clutch transmission.
