Best ice mountaineer: Urs Odermatt
Winston paid a visit to the best ice mountaineer in the World, Urs Odermatt. Urs is also knows as the Urminator, because of his techniques on the mountains. He has won lots of awards and he climbed many mountains, like the Eiger Mountain. Urs loves ice climbing because according to him, every climb is unique.  



Eiger Mountain
The Eiger Mountain is part of the Alps. The mountain runs up to 4000 meters high and to climb the mountain you might want to bring some experience. In 2006 a piece of the Eiger Mountain broke off and smashed into the ground. Luckily the broken piece landed in a remote area so there were no injuries.

Urs ‘Urminator’ Odermatt
Urs Odermatt is an experienced ice mountaineer. He knows the importance of a good climbing partner. Ice climbing is a dangerous sport because the ice is constantly moving. Evert climb is unique. As soon as you hack into the ice, you’ll know if the ice is any good or not. In the end, the mountain is always bigger than the man.
