Chevrolet Camaro
The first Chevrolet Camaro went on sale on September 29, 1966.  It was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The production was discontinued in 2002, but now the Camaro is back. General Motors began production of the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro in February 2009.



The return of the “pony car”
The new “pony car” is based on the 2006 Camaro concept. The 2010 model is offered as a 2-door coupe only with a 2-door convertible model to arrive later in the year. The Chevrolet Camaro will come in three levels: LS, LT, and high-performance SS. The Camaro will have two available engines: a V6 and a V8.
