Preparing snow tracks
Everybody who likes to go skiing knows how annoying it can be when you’re skiing on bad snow. Therefore it’s good to know that there are people who make sure the snow looks good every single day. Winston had the opportunity to follow snow consultant Reto Sporrer for one day. Reto heads for the snow tracks every night to bring them back into shape with his PipeMagician.

Reto Sporrer is the guy who runs down the snow tracks every night. He uses the PipeMagician which is a machine developed especially to maintain half pipes and snow tracks. The machine gets a half pipe back into shape after it’s been used by snowboarders all day. This way the half pipe looks as good as ever the next day.

Winston is talking with Reto about his job. Reto explains that this is the ideal job for him. He is a trained snowboarder and skier himself and he likes to see the snow every night. He says this is the best way to find out how the snow is going to look the next day so he can go snowboarding himself.
