Spyker C8 Aileron
Dutch maker of exclusive hand-built sports cars Spyker, debuted the production version of their new C8 Aileron on the floors in Geneva recently, a jet-inspired model built on the company’s rich aviation heritage.



Improvements compares predecessor C8 Aileron
This second-generation C-line automobile boasts a redesigned all-aluminum body, with a stretched wheelbase to increase cockpit room, a wider body, and the elimination of most of the shark-like gills present on its predecessors. In their place, turbine-shaped scoops at the side air-intakes provide a meaningful reference to the strong aeronautical influence present in the car’s design.

C8 Aileron Specifications
Powered by the same Audi 4.2-liter V8, 400 bhp pushes the car to its top speed of 187 mph, with the option of either a 6-speed Getrag manual gearbox, or a ZF 6-speed automatic gearbox, the first time automatic transmission will be made available by the automaker. The Spyker C8 Aileron will be produced in 14 standard colors, owners may also choose to have their car painted in any color or with the Spyker Squadron GT2 team’s paintwork. The car is currently planned for release only in Europe at a price of €189,990 for the manual version and €195,990 for the automatic.
