Rinspeed iChange
The Swiss car brand Rinspeed introduced their latest creation, the concept car Rinspeed iChange. The iChange is the first car to adjust to the number of passengers in the car. The iChange is driven by a 150kW strong electric motor. Another detail on the iChange is that the concept car has no doors and no normal car key. The functions within the iChange are controlled by an Apple iPhone.



Symbol of movement
Rinspeed wants to look to the future with the iChange. Within a few seconds the iChange can be transformed from a one passenger sports car into a comfortable car for three passengers. Just one push at the button, makes the roof at the back pull up together with two extra chairs. This way the car has good aerodynamic when there’s just one passenger.

The iChange is driven by a 150kW strong electric motor, which gets it’s energy by lithium-ion batteries. The roof contains sun panels that recharge the battery. The iChange has no doors but the entire roof can pull up to the front so you can easily get in and out of the car. The key is, together with some other functions, integrated into an Apple iPhone.
