Red Bull Cliff Diving 2008 in Hamburg
The world’s best cliff divers including Europe’s only woman cliff diver all came to Hamburg for the Red Bull Cliff Diving 2008 in the port of Hamburg. Instead of diving from cliffs the Hamburg event was pretty unique as the competitors dove off the sailing ship ‘Rickmer Rickmers’. They dove off the tops of the sip’s masts, face-to-face with container cranes and rooftops.

The competitors of the Red Bull Cliff Diving 2008 Hamburg reached a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour in just 2.5 seconds in those seconds they presented amazing somersaults and front flips. They also moved through the air in breathtaking twisting groups. Only seconds after the daring jump they experienced the brutal feet-first entry in the water.
