Fracture: Shooter with a twist
Fracture is a shooter that takes place in the future and where terrain deformation plays a central part. In Fracture the United States is split in two fractions: The Republic of Pacifica and the Atlantic Alliance. The Republic of Pacifica uses genetic manipulation to cope with the changing world. The Atlantic Alliance chooses cybernetic solutions as their primary weapons. In Fracture you play soldier Mason Briggs who fights for the Atlantic Alliance.



Fracture: Deformable terrain
The Terrain Deformation technology of the Atlantic Alliance plays a major role in the gameplay of Fracture. This technology was originally developed for agricultural purposes but the destructive nature of the Terrain Deformation technology made it useless in agriculture. Eventually the Atlantic Alliance decided to further develop this technology for military use.
