Call of Duty: World at War back to WWII
The successor of the very successful Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be titled Call of Duty: World at War. The game is set in the Pacific theatre during World War II. Call of Duty: World at War has been developed by Treyarch, the same studio that developed Call of Duty 2/3. Treyarch uses the engine of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare so the graphics will be top-notch.

Flamerthrowers and swimming in Call of Duty: World at War

For the first time you’ll be able to swim in a Call of Duty game in both singleplayer and multiplayer mode. Luckily flamethrowers are back and off course the environments will be completely flammable. According to the developers Call of Duty: Modern at War will be less ‘scripted’ than the previous Call of Duty games. As player you’ll have more freedom in the way you execute a mission.
