IFA 2008: Samsung X360 ultra-light notebook
Samsung added the ultra-lightweight Samsung X360 to their expanding notebook range. This 13.3 inch notebook weighs only a minuscule 1.27 kg and is unlike other ‘ultra-light’ notebooks fully featured with 3 USB ports, built-in HDMI connection, a 34mm express card slot, VGA output. For fast and easy data transfer the Samsung X360 incorporates a flexible 7-in-1 memory card reader, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, super-fast 802.11n wireless technology and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN connection.

To ensure non stop productivity the Samsung X360 is equipped with a removable 6 cell battery that enables up to 10 hours of continuous use. Efficient power consumption is further supported by the use of Intel Centrino 2 Ultra Low Voltage processor technology. The 13.3 inch WXGA (1280x800) uses backlight technology that consumes less power but delivers 33 percent improved brightness. When you order the Samsung X360 with the optional 128GB Solid State Drive the boot time will be around 40 percent faster and data access is even more than 300 percent faster.
