Mini Clubman Retro
The Mini Clubman is the extended version of the current Mini Cooper. Morris and Austin used to produce this car but nowadays it is owned and manufactured by BMW. In the 60’s and 70’s there were also two extended versions of the Cooper: the Traveller and the Country. So for BMW it was a logical next step to introduce a contemporary retro model of the extended version.
Split doors
The Mini Cooper Clubman is just slightly longer than the normal model. This means more cargo space and an additional side door. This extra door makes the back seat easily accessible. There is just one extra side door because the fuel filler cap on the other side made a second one impossible.
Litres of luggage
The 260 litres luggage compartment is easily accessible thanks to the two doors that open automatically. If you fold down the backseat you will even have 930 litres of storage space. More space is available under the loading platform. Because the Mini rides on "run flat" tyres a spare is not needed, this means even more space!
Innovative Mini
The Mini is packed with innovations. In addition to the handy extras, the Mini Cooper Clubman is also more economical. There are features such as Brake Energy Regeneration that stores the energy, released during braking, in the car battery. The Auto Start/Stop, which turns of the engine when the car stands still and the clutch is released and starts once the clutch is kicked back in. And then there is Gear-indicator that informs you in what gear you should drive to save petrol.
Clubman models
This Mini is available in several models. Besides the standard Mini Cooper Clubman, there is also the Cooper Clubman D (Diesel) and the Cooper Clubman S (Sports). The standard model should cost around € 24,890,-. Of course it will cost a bit more if you add extra accessories to your Clubman.
