During high school April Scott won around half of the beauty pageants she competed in. After graduation from high school she went to a Christian college. There she graduated with a degree in Theater and Rhetoric. Very soon after graduation she moved to Los Angelas to pursue an acting career. That was a good choice, for she already appeared in major TV-shows as Entourage, The Shield, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and CSI: Miami. Meanwhile her modelling career was also going very well. She already appeared on the cover of numerous magazines like People Magazine, Maxim Magazine UK, Rounder, Breed, Sense and Fitness RX.
