Maranello home of Ferrari
Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929 as Scuderia Ferrari, originally sponsored drivers and manufactured race cars. In 1947 Ferrari started producing street legal vehicles. Ferrari was originally based in the city Modena, but since 1940 the small town Maranello is the home of Ferrari. The F1 raceteam has its headquarters in Maranello, as well as the Ferrari museum 'Galleria Ferrari' and the adjacent factory. Winston went to visit Maranello and soon discovered that Maranello is all Ferrari minded.
Galleria Ferrari
The Galleria Ferrari has become the place where Ferrari's past, present and future blend perfectly. It's located in a modern and functional building with an overall surface of 2.500 square meters. The most significant historical pieces including the first Ferrari car, the 125 S of 1947 and Enzo Ferrari's office are permanently exposed. The Galleria Ferrari also shows the newest racers and road cars. It's Galleria's tradition to present all Ferrari's new models at the same time as the most prominent international cars shows.

Besides the museum the Galleria Ferrari consists of more. At the shop there's plenty Ferrari merchandise to purchase. At the book shop there are many publications to find, about the company and racing team history, drivers and races, models and bodywork designers. If you need to take a pit stop you can visit the coffee shop Caffetteria del Cavallino. Here you can enjoy a quick meal or enjoy a cappuccino.
