Formula 1
To find out what needs to be done for a Formula 1 race we went to Silverstone. A few miles south of the town you can find the F1 factory of the former BAR team. Here we had an interview with test driver Darren Manning and got a special guided tour through the factory.



Racing Team
The BAR racing team was owned by British American Tobacco and started competing in the Formula 1 in 1999. The cars of this team could have been recognized on the track by the Lucky Strike logo on their tail. In 2005 due to the anti tobacco rules in the sport Honda took over the whole team. Drivers that you might know from that period are Villeneuve, Panis, Button and Sato.
