In this latest instalment in the Devil May Cry series, the player controls Nero, the game's protagonist, in addition to an appearance by series lead Dante, fighting demonic enemies in close combat using firearms, swords and a variety of weaponry in a gothic setting. The gameplay play in Devil May Cry 4 is similar to previous games in the series. You must fight through levels and occasionally solve puzzles or gather items. Performance in a level is graded in various levels.
